Bustafellows - Shu's route

I've finished Shu yesterday. I didn't have high hopes with him as I didn't particularly like him in any other routes however playing his route was a game changer! What surprised me the most is, how he is breathtakingly beautiful on the right and he is always featured with his weaker left side.

I loved the CGs in the route. We had many handsome Shu photos, all of them made me think I'll set them as a wallpaper!

I had a badass bad boy impression of him before his route. Whether he was planned to be one or not, he turned out to be a decent guy, loving, sensitive guy. I loved it. I loved how easily he fell in love and became a gentle person. In the same time, I found it weird that the girl didn't dwell on his jobs and all he did. Well, I wouldn't so it suits me, but wouldn't that be normal to be surprised and require time to wrap her head around?

Altogether the routes are very short and it is the same on Shu's route, but it was pretty enjoyable. I just went with the flow without anxiously thinking about my backlog. Also whenever Mozu stood up for me, I loved him just as I did in his route, so I guess he is my favourite? His thinking is so straight and never changes in routes, he is who he is and giving Shu advices, he seem to be a rational character that is genuinely cares about the MC. Sorry, I had to point him out.

Shu's route is the most interesting so far and I have only Helvetica left. It's because it had a few turns and interesting secrets popped up surprising me. I really enjoyed this route and the concept of loving an older guy, but let me be honest... he isn't that old. The game kept me thinking he must be 10+ older than us, and it was only 7 years. Me and my boyfriend have the same age gap and he never tried to act like a big boy or old mad compared to me. It's not like your boyfriend is your dad's age or am I wrong? What do you all think/thought about it?

I'm going to play Helvetica now and whenever I'm finished I'll try to finish the game on 100%. I'll be back with my bitesize review. I don't really like him at the moment so I hope he'll have the best route!

See you all soon! xX

Bustafellows - Mozu's route

I'm back to this game as I left Mozu behind last year. I'm guilty in not finishing games before getting new games so I have a great deal of otome with unfinished routes.

Mozu's route was my favourite so far, his personality gave me hard times. I always had to answer the opposite of what I wanted to say and his explanations made me happy. I like weird but intelligent guys and that's what he is. Surprisingly he's also very sensitive and deals with his feelings in a unique way of not understanding them. He is a perfect person for someone like me. He needs support with his own feelings, but doesn't require help as he probably wouldn't understand. He is also amusing.

The end of the route was disappointing for me, however his confession was my favourite... I didn't know if I ended up on the good ending or messed up somehow...? I still have to find this out as I didn't find this a happy ending. Apart from being loved by him...

All together, I'm happy and ready to continue with Shu. I haven't got much affection to Helvetica but... I'll eventually finish his route too as it is quite a good game.

It's just a short one this time as I kept a long break in the middle of the route, but stay with me in my next post!

Collar x Malice - Sasazuka Takeru's route

Hey ya all!!! I have just finished Sasazuka's route in Collar x Malice.
It surprised me, and let me tell he was a pretty positive experience. I know he is quite popular, but even though that, he was my least desired character to pursue... But as I usually am, I played it honestly and honesty put me on his route.

And there is one thing no one mentioned before... He is actually really sweet. It didn't take long for me to warm up to him, because he isn't as mean as everyone described him. Not at the least.

The storyline was amazing. I never got stuck, never felt bored, and always felt the care but it never was too too too disgustingly romantic. It was JUST as I like it^^

Also I never in my wildest dream could imagine how I'll have more romance during an investigation where my life is at stake than in an actual romantic setting such as Cupid Parasite. But I definitely had... Sasazuka dropped the sweetest moments from the beginning and I was absolutely unaware.

Also, apart from one mistake, which was the shooting, I managed to get a good ending that was also so sweet and satisfying... And by that I mean I only died once bc I didn't know that I had to shoot, please, my gun was in the middle of that target and not the target!!! It took me a few minutes to figure out that must have been a mini-game.I'll also mention it because it is rare... I checked my answers with a walkthrough afterwards, and it appears I only chose the answers that led to a good ending without a single mistakeT_T This fact makes me think we were a perfect match, lol^^

One more thing... I was looking forward to Mineo's route up until now, but he appeared to be such a simple puppy, I'm not sure... I might be annoyed.

And now, ladies and gentlemen, please do not hold back! I want to know what you all thought of the game and the characters! I'm really enjoying the game so I'd like to discuss it!^^

Birushana - Shungen's route

Hello, everyone!

As I promised, I'm back with my Birushana post that I planned to post during my holiday back in August. Even though I didn't manage, and then I forgot, scrolling through my beautiful memories did the job and now I'll post about our Shungen.

So Sungen... What should I say... I mean, his route obviously wasn't as passionate as Noritsune's route, but he was a sweetheart. I haven't found a spot I did not like in him. There was a plot twist that basically saved the story in eyes. I think everyone knows what am I referring to. But I wasn't quite satisfied with it. All together, I loved Shungen, and the story is interesting at an amazing spot in the history, but it was a tiny bit neglected. I mean, it had a lots of potential and they seemed to miss most of them.

Even though that I still bought a huge book on the Heike topic, because it is a precious part of the history and a precious part of my history as well. I'll probably pour that sorry on you in my blog as soon as I get to write there too!

I read "The summer Hikaru died" vol 1

I just received my copy today afternoon. I started reading it straight after I got home from work and honestly I bought it without reading the blurb. I didn't quite know what to expect, but I fell in love with this title.

I'll be honest. I thought the story line will lead us through a long struggle that ends up with Hikaru's dead. I was quite surprised when I sat down with my hot tea to read and found out what it is really about.

I'm still shocked that I read the whole piece without stopping for a toilet break or to make another tea as I usually do whatever I read. It just pulled me in and I feel like I'm mixing with it:'D

The story is basically about two boys. The two spent their lives sticked together as best friends. But one day Hikaru went to the mountains and disappeared for a week. He then came back with no memories about the whole thing. At least, this is the official version, but his best friend knows better. As a typical best childhood friend/ probably secret lover, Yoshiki knows well; the person came back, isn't his friend anymore. And he spills the tea in the very first chapter.

The story and the drawing style is kinda dark. It uses long stretching shadows for the vibe and also a lot of shadows and weird faces that makes all the suffer so savage that you could cut it with a knife. But honestly. It's creepy, but so sad in the same time. And also... this boy handles his best friend and possible lover's death in a way that is not actually normal, but given the situation, it is not surprising at all.

It ends in a cruel way that makes me want to read the next chapter, but I have to wait until it is released.

I meant to be mentioning the appearance of the book first, but I'm still in shock. I love it so much, it almost makes me forget about the fact that it came with a small damage on the spine. A really small one, but definitely noticeable and I bought it as new! The cover is also a small mm shorter than the pages it covers but the pages are made of nice thick paper.

The drawing style is not just beautiful, but amazingly overwhelming and it does make a huge impact on one's soul. Yoshiki is just as beautiful as an angel, I can't get enough of him on the pages. I just want to touch his adorable face and messy hair every time he has his hair in his eyes and looks so dull but tortured in the same time.

I just can't wait for the next volume. I honestly believe, this is a worthy manga for me to collect even though I don't intend to collect manga.

Piofiore Fated Memories - After game thoughts (with spoilers)

I've just finished Piofiore, and I'm speechless, but I'll start it from the very beginning.

I got started with this one at the end of February. I used to play these games without trying to get the best endings and for the first time, I'm just honest. This is how I ended up on Dante's route.

Dante is a sweet guy, I think he is still my favorite since then. But his route took my life away for weeks so I had to keep myself away from it. It was probably because I played it with fewer and didn't feel well anyway.

After returning to the game, I made sure to choose a character to keep me entertained. I got into the game so much on Yang's route! It was so interesting and fast pace, that I realized, I found Dante's route rather boring. I mean... Lili was safe all of the time by the side of Dante, but Yang... could kill her if she said something wrong. Whatever, I unexpectedly loved him! He is horrible, and I'd never love anyone like him in real life but in the game, he had the absolute best route!

Everyone was interesting to me after Yang but I realized, I should have followed the recommended order which is Nicola, Yang, Dante, Orlok, and Gilbert who will unlock the final route.

It's interesting, how the common route is very short, I didn't even know, when I got on the route first. It was unexpected because you gain more and more with every route you complete. I also liked the number of saving slots, since I like to save a lot and keep them for later. The music and the art of the characters are first class, I really liked everyone. The stories are interesting, and the end that you can unlock after playing through every route is the best. I liked how there is a main story and every route built around it, but non touch the story of the other routes except for the real ending at the very end, which is parallel with Gil's route for a few chapters. I really enjoyed the game, I think it will be one of my favorites.

About the characters

I'll include this here because I'm not planning to review them one by one.

Dante: I started with Dante, he is a soft, nice guy. His speech is very calming, and I enjoyed his character so much. I could definitely imagine a guy like him in real life as my boyfriend, but his route wasn't as interesting for me. It felt too safe, it felt too good, even though he was a fated love for Lili. Actually, I also liked the idea of fated lovers. It's just as interesting as the childhood friend, especially after we find out how Dante liked us since he first saw Lili at the church... but he had to keep his distance. After his route, I thought there wasn't any more to the story, and it kind of seemed right in anyone else's route until the very last route. I was surprised that the story had so much to it.

Yang: I'll be honest. I didn't think, I'll like him. I didn't even like him as I did like Dante, but also I enjoyed him. He was interesting, he was dangerous. His story wasn't boring for a minute, it was amazing. Kept me wondering if he will ever feel the love! I wasn't very surprised by the tragic ending, but the good end did surprise me, I couldn't quite get how on earth could that be a good end, even the tragic end was better.

Nicola: I spent lots of time with hating Nicola quietly in other routes but it turned out, he was a decent guy. I thought he will betray Lili or there will be something in the tragic end which is connected to his sneaky behavior. But... no, he wasn't anything like that. He even had an amazing best end and a sweet good end. Even in his tragic ending, he kept Lili close and needed her. It was shocking... because Lili had to wait for him all alone. Without a pet, without seeing anyone in the manor... behind her door. I usually don't mind these kinds of situations, but hers was a really bad, unexplained one. I could not find a real reason for imprisoning her.

Orlok: He was a sweet guy, and even though most of the reviews stated he was boring, he wasn't for me. He was special, he was innocent and loveable. He had the saddest best ending and the cruelest tragic ending. That ending burned into me, I enjoyed it a lot, but he didn't deserve that life. I'd save him on my back as he is so cute and pure. Even his best ending was surprising in a little negative way.

Gil: I found his looks are the most convincing. I loved the eyepatch, and his route was also interesting, but I just didn't get how he ended up as the unlockable character. His route didn't contain any spoilers about the ending, and we didn't get any more info about this whole story. Even though, he ended up being the half of the very true ending.

Henry: He had a very small route of a few chapters. It was heartwarming with one ending. I actually liked him even though he turned out to be the direttore who was the most suspicious person of all through the game. I liked his ending and their innocent relationship.

Bustafellows - Limbo's route !Spoiler alert!

Unexpectedly, Limbo proved to be a little more interesting than I thought. At first, he looks like just that boy, who you fell in love with, because he looks so good, but had nothing behind him. But he... no he was actually a sweet boy with shady businesses.

He has a normal family, and he does a very good job. He has different views of justice, but you can see how he is actually right. But apart from him being cute, and his route...

There is this guy Navid. Navid is an old friend of Limbo's, but he also... is a weird person. I was thrilled with joy when I read his first attempt to make Limbo suffer. He actually told him, he will get a bomb go of under the heroine and she will become no more than PINK MIST! I mean... I grew up with horror movies, and I love this kind of approach. The route was interesting because Teuta was constantly in danger without knowing, but I knew, and I didn't always have the chance to choose what to do or say.

At some point, Navid made Teuta kill herself. I mean, he tried hard... And I managed to get both ends. It was pretty sweet at the end of the Good ending, where Limbo was happy but also... I enjoyed the Bad ending so much!

I liked how they made good use of this power of hers, just as in Scarecrow's route. Even though I thought she would use it more often. Not as if it was needed...

Even Though I enjoyed this route, I didn't see the flames of love between these two, which bothered me a little. I know about the B side, but I still haven't played it after not enjoying Crow's B side. Also, I just can't wait to play Mozu or Shu but I'm still lazy to start it on the computer so I keep playing other games on the lite.
